1/1/11....

Dear JT,

    A new month!  A new year!  But still my same silly, lovable, playful and INTENSE boy...that is YOU!!!  As we are starting this year, I am starting a project for you, and one for your sister!  But you will each have your very own!  A blog book.   A term that falls I am sure way down at the bottom of your importance list after Mario, dsi, tickling, running everywhere, your love of school and let's not forget.....Ninja Warrior!!!  But, my hope is that in a year from now, when I hand you your very own copy of a book of year from YOUR life, you will flash me that sweet smile and in fact like it!  As you get older, I hope you will have it to look back on your fun filled, sometimes full of drama filled days, and see how you have come to be the boy your are and the man you will one day become!  

   You are my "baby"...and mommy knows what it means to be called that term.  That is because I am the "baby" of my family.  You, like me, have an older sibling (of course I have 2!).   You and Rachel are like two peas in a pod....I know how much you love, love her.   And trust me she feels the same!  You both get mad at each other about 30 times a day!!! Guess what?????   That is what brothers and sisters do!  But at the end of the day, you two are best friends.  You are there for each other.  Like today, when you were practicing riding your two wheeler......you toppled over and guess who was there helping you before mommy even asked if you are ok??????  RACHEL!  She loves you buddy!!!  And I know you love her!  One day, you may be the one defending her, taking care of her.  But until then, just remember, how much we all love you Joshua.....even if you do beat us all at the Wii....EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!
