You were a great student. You celebrated at school....earning LAA Celebration Notations. A lot of times. And because of that, you got to dress WaCkY to school! I definate departure from the boring, I mean, "unwacky" uniform you wear each day!
The dilemma? You wanted to be a "little" wacky....but not "too much" wacky as you told me! I tried to get you to wear your bathing suit, crazy pattern and colors, with an inside out shirt! And two different socks. That was a little too wacky for you. :) So you decided on the above.....your orange striped shirt and some red shorts, both right side out! And two of the same socks, baseball ones.
Groundhog Day was special! Daddy was there with me to pick you up from school, being it was Rachel's birthday. He got to see first hand what I do everyday. Your excitement about your day.
You burst into the van, with the hat above on your head. You were VERY proud. After you took it off to read to us...you told us Spring is almost here! Afterall, Phil did not see his shadow. One of my highlights every day there is school is you telling me all about it. And this day was no different. Then you went on to exclaim that you got your certificate for knowing all of your sight words....you have 160 of them! Phew! But what was exciting was how you acted just as happy to tell us of the other person in your class that got their certificate for knowing the sight words. You got to celebrate together.
You are like your sister, JT. Your heart is so good. You care about other people. I love that. It is a gift you have been given. One that many people who pass in and out of your life in years to come will love to share with you. Always think of others and treat them kindly. And my hope is that they will always do the same for you!

Joshua, where does that Groundhog live? If he lives up North, I think I know why he did't see his shadow!! There was too much snow and it was too cold for him to stay out long enough to actually see if his shadow was there. What do you think?
